One Vision Health & Research Foundation has taken one step ahead to start the Advanced College of Optometry and Health Sciences, apart from social and healthcare activities. The Institute has an aim to provide quality and job-oriented education to underprivileged students to ensure they get qualified, become good optometrists and gain excellent employment opportunities for a secure their future. To do this, One Vision offers a subsidy on fees to students from low socio-economic backgrounds. Currently, Advanced College of Optometry is offering Diploma in Optometry and Diploma in Operation Theatre courses. The college has a plan to start the Degree courses in Optometry, Nursing, and many other paramedical and vocational courses in future. Currently 24 students are enrolled at the college for various courses.
We have established Advanced College of Optometry and health Sciences in 2017 and its 1st year of inception we admitted 15 students in Diploma in Optometry course, 2 students in OT technician course and 1 student in Certified dispensing Optician course. Out of which 4 students where provided full scholarship and 3 students were provided subsidies in their fees.
In the 2nd year of inception, i.e., 2018, 8 students admitted in Diploma in Optometry course.
Now in 3rd years admission is going on.
We also donate books/ Notebooks a material to needy students through other NGO’S who also work on education. We are paying fees to school and college on behalf of poor student.
