One Vision raises awareness towards eye donation and blindness. To take this cause forward, an awareness drive was launched called “Tamso Ma Jyotirgamya”. The Walk against Blindness aims to motivate people to get over their inhibitions, donate their eyes and thus overcome the shortage of corneas. And it pushes across this sombre message in a very light-hearted, fun filled way. Under this drive, an awareness walk is being organized for the last 6 years. Every year walk sees the participation of more than 10,000 people which includes celebrities, government heads, school and college principals and students, media representatives, other NGO’s and religious organizations besides the common public. This year the Walk was conducted on 12th January 2019 we had participation of more than 15000 people from different members of the society.
